A crazy colourful house on the market and bizarrely filled with mannequins has gone viral – after snaps of the unique property were shared on Facebook.
The home, in Gautier, Mississippi, US, features three bedrooms and four bathrooms, and was built in 1988.
But the décor is what truly sets it apart.
Visitors are greeted at the door by a life-size gold mannequin with light-up breasts – the only hint of what is to come.
Inside the unassuming house, more mannequins await, bizarrely placed in the rooms, with some hovering by windows, a home bar and even lurking in the bathroom – serving as a towel rack.
Statuesque residents aside, the colour palette of the home is equally unique, with glossy mirror-effect flooring and cabinetry, bright yellow furniture, and splashes of neon pinks and oranges.
The listing describes the property: “This most artful and unique home is one you do not want to miss” – and says the seller will consider selling it furnished.
The unique home left thousands of Facebook users stunned after pictures of it were shared online.
One person commented: “This is Barbie’s Dream House, if the phrase was taken literally and was a horrific, Dali-ized remix of all the neons, doll parts and fashion bits that surround her from which she awakes in a cold sweat.”
“For once, I am speechless. The outside did not prepare me for the inside,” said another user.
Someone else added: “I see that in addition to the bizarre mannequin fetish, we’re also observing the rule that the richer you are, the less sense your bathroom sink makes.”
“They definitely shot p*rn in this house….. every room,” another viewer joked.
“Someone loved the movie Mannequin WAY too much,” said someone else.
Another user quipped: “I don’t think they understand what “model home” really means.”
The property is available with Kati Viola at Rain Residential for $434,000.
