Daredevils assemble, you can now stay in bizarre Airbnb built on STILTS on the edge of a cliff
An Airbnb has become available in Chile but it’s not for the faint-hearted – with the property built on stilts on the side of a cliff.
The unique property, perfect for daredevils, is located in the stunning Lagunillas area of Valparaíso and includes incredible sea views.
The home sits right along the beach with large windows to create the illusion of floating on the sea.
On the ground floor, guests can find a spacious, open kitchen and diner, staring out at the waves while enjoying meals (or worrying if the stilts will come tumbling down).
There is also a separate small chill-out area, as well as a luxury bathroom, which comes with all the usual amenities including a shower with a sea view.
Upstairs, you’ll find the bedroom with a double bed, which is reached by a wooden ladder and a fairly large balcony.
There is also a big decking area and the beach is but a jump, skip and a hop away.
There is no WiFi or TV, with the aim for residents to relax and enjoy their tranquil surroundings.
The stilt house is only accessible by three stories of stairs, leading down the beach dunes.
The owner also advises that guests drive a cross-country vehicle, since the road isn’t in an amazing condition and when raining, this type of vehicle is required.
