A woman has gone viral after trying out a hack for clearing sinuses – which involves putting a clove of garlic into each nostril.

Rozaline Katherine, 29, decided to try out the tip after seeing it on TikTok and her clip has racked up millions of views.

In a video of her putting the method to the test, Rozaline can be seen inserting the garlic cloves into her nostrils.

She waits 10-15 minutes and then removes them.

The content creator is stunned as she films snot pouring from her nose and declares that, in her opinion, the method works.

“I didn’t think it was actually going to work which is why I filmed it more as a joke,” Rozaline, from Arizona, US, told Jam Press.

“I just peeled two fresh cloves of garlic and put one in each nostril. I set a timer for 10 minutes and just watched TV while I waited.

“It didn’t burn or hurt and I just kept touching it to keep it in place and waited.

“After 10-15 minutes I could tell my nose was starting to run so I took the garlic out.

“I was expecting it to be a little runny but then tons of boogers just started coming out and I was totally shocked.

“I didn’t smell any garlic afterwards either – I think my sinuses were flushed out.

“I was totally surprised by the results.”

The TikTok has been viewed more than 4.3 million times and racked up over 500,000 likes – but viewers are divided over the hack.

One person said: “Brb gotta try it bc I haven’t been breathing well for two weeks now.” [sic]

“I will be trying this,” another eager viewer said.

Someone else commented: “Keeping this video in my back pocket for later colds.”

“Yesss thank you I’m so doing this,” one person agreed. [sic]

Other people called the trick “amazing” and “oddly satisfying”.

Other viewers were less impressed by the hack and Rozaline sharing the results on camera.

One person said: “This is where TikTok reaches its limit.”

“Was not expecting to see the last part,” another viewer said.

Someone else commented: “You’ll be able to smell garlic for a whole year after that.”

“No thanks before I know I accidentally inhale through my nose and the garlic disappears,” one worried viewer added. [sic]

Another person said: “Did you really have to show the snot sis??? I’m eating ramen and I wanna throw up.” [sic]
